About the company

CarbonCloud is a SaaS startup founded in Gothenburg Sweden in 2019 by a team of scientists on a mission to improve the climate impact of food. The company develop software that helps calculate and communicate the carbon footprint of your food products, map out your supply chain and spot where and how to reduce your emissions together with your suppliers – from farm to shelf.

The company ultimately provide the infrastructure and network packed with global data and intelligence to make the best procurement choices, get the most granular calculations, and even help consumers make climate-conscious choices. A real competitive advantage that, as of today, has only been a game of the few. The client base already includes several great brands and large international companies such as Oatly, Unilever, and Menigo among others and more are to come as the company expands into a global arena. 

About the Role

As the Director of Product Management, you will lead the development of the product with full responsibility. Your goal is to shape a product that is deeply customer-oriented, supported by a strategic development plan and thoughtful pricing. You will manage the entire product lifecycle within an organization driven by product development and work closely with development, marketing, and sales to create a unified strategy.

Your responsibilities include guiding the company through the constantly changing needs of customers seeking guidance to identify their requirements. You will focus on optimizing parts of the product that contribute the most to value creation and increase the Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).

As part of your leadership, you will structure teamwork, streamline processes, and implement feedback systematically to improve productivity. You will lead a team that currently includes a Head of Product, and prepare for further expansion.

Your ability to prioritize and deliver clear roadmaps, increase the attractiveness of products and ensure they are the obvious choice for our customers will be crucial. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to support decisions, and you need to evaluate which systems are used for this purpose. Location of the role is either Gothenburg, Sweden/ London, UK /California, US.

Skills, Experiences and Requirements

  • Experience in a Growth SaaS Company with a minimum of 10 years in a similar product management leadership role.
  • Customer focused: Total customer focus, going above and beyond what customers want and invent on behalf of the customer constantly
  • Strategic Thinking and Execution. Experience developing and implementing strategic plans, driving initiatives, and achieving measurable results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills. Identify key issues, and develop data-driven recommendations to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Product Management Expertise with experience leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple products simultaneously, and delivering on time and within budget.
  • Excellent Communication and Influencing Skills.
  • Experience leading and managing multi level teams with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Prone to dynamic and fast-paced environments with ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, handle ambiguity, and remain resilient in the face of challenges.
